I am a Certified Hypnotherapist and Member of the National Guild of Hypnotists, as well as a qualified Hypnobirthing Practitioner. Hypnotherapy is a collaborative process; you are the real expert on you and the answers to your questions are already accessible within your subconscious mind. My aim is to guide and empower you to help yourself through change work, to maximise your potential and change the flow of your life.
My background is in counselling and therapeutic play; I worked for over 12 years providing emotional support to school children and their families in my local community in SW London, where I am still based (TW12). I have always had an interest in the mind-body connection, as well as in psychological factors such as perception, conditioning and beliefs; studying hypnotherapy felt like the natural next step.
Hypnosis is relaxing, effective and creative. In my experience, it also works remarkably quickly compared to talking therapies. It is a proven approach to tackling life stresses and improving self-confidence; I also have experience working with a vast range of other issues, from performance anxiety to phobias, unhealthy habits, pain management issues, pregnancy fears, etc.
I am a good listener, open-minded and have a calming presence (I'm told!) and work with people of all backgrounds, including students and young people, mums-to-be, peers and older people. Your wellbeing and working with you towards positive outcomes are my priorities, and I would love to accompany you for a while on your journey to self betterment.
